ShelfAhead uses essential browser storage to remember privacy choices and, for email sign-in, a secure session cookie to keep a store account signed in. The session cookie is HttpOnly and expires after 30 days. The public calculators and checklists run in your browser; their entries are not sent to ShelfAhead just by using a tool.

Optional analytics

We have prepared event names for public tool opens, completed calculations, article views and sign-up actions. No analytics provider is connected at present. An analytics service will only load where configured and permitted by your choice.

Optional advertising

AdSense placements are prepared only for public tools and guides. Ads will load only after the advertising setup is completed and you allow optional advertising. The logged-in store dashboard does not contain these ad placements.

Change your choice

Use “Cookie settings” in the public footer to allow or turn off optional categories. Essential storage remains in use for site operation. Clearing browser storage also clears your saved choice, so you may be asked again.
