How is a product counted?

Active batches with the same barcode count as one product. If a product has no barcode, ShelfAhead groups active batches by product name. Completed batches do not count toward the active product limit.

Before you begin

Do I need a credit card for the free plan?

No payment is collected when you create a free store.

Does ShelfAhead update my checkout system?

No. You record the markdown and update the POS price separately. Check the printed sign and barcode before placing it on the shelf.

How do I add my team?

Store owners can allow staff to access their store with the email address they use to sign in.
