Universal CSV
Import POS inventory snapshots and transaction files, match products, and work with multiple store locations. CSV is a manual exchange; it does not write stock back to your POS.
POS integrations
ShelfAhead separates the POS total from expiry-dated batches. Match products by identifier and location, then record what is known about each batch. Availability varies by provider and account setup.
Square
The Square connection flow, inventory reads, receiving adjustments and physical counts are built. A Square developer app, credentials, webhook setup and real-store verification are required before automatic use. Sales and refunds are not yet an automatic Square feed.
Shopify POS
A native connector is not active. Export supported inventory data from your POS and use the CSV workflow where suitable.
Lightspeed Retail
A native connector is not active. Use the manual CSV workflow until official API access is implemented.
Clover
A native connector is not active. Use the manual CSV workflow until official API access is implemented.
TapTouch
Automatic integration depends on supported API or reporting access from TapTouch. The current fallback is manual CSV import.
Delivery adds stock
Receiving 24 units means adding 24 to the total. That is a different operation from recording a physical count of 24 units.
Dates need a batch
A POS total alone cannot say which units expire first. ShelfAhead keeps dated quantities separate and shows stock whose date still needs assignment.
